Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking your safari with JMD Wildlife. Confirming a booking implies acceptance of all the terms outlined below.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, making an inquiry, or confirming a booking with JMD Wildlife, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Cancellation Policy, and all applicable forest department and Indian tourism regulations.

2. Booking & Confirmation

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the agreed advance / full payment and a confirmation acknowledgement from JMD Wildlife.
  • Guests must provide valid government-issued photo identification (Passport for international travellers, Aadhaar / PAN / Voter ID for Indian nationals) for safari permits as required by forest authorities.
  • Names provided at the time of booking must match the ID exactly. Changes after permit issuance are not always possible and may be charged separately.

3. Payment Terms

  • All prices on the website are in INR by default and converted to other currencies at live market rates for display purposes only.
  • Final settlement may be processed in INR (via Razorpay/UPI/Net-banking) or in supported foreign currency (via PayPal). Minor variations may occur due to bank/processor exchange-rate spreads.
  • All applicable taxes, gateway charges, and forest department permit fees are payable as per government norms.

4. Safari Allocation Policy

JMD Wildlife does not guarantee booking for any specific:

  • Core Zone
  • Buffer Zone
  • Safari Gate
  • Route
  • Safari Timing

Safari allotment is subject to:

  • Availability
  • Forest department rules
  • Permit availability
  • Operational conditions
  • Best possible wildlife sighting opportunities

The final selection of safari zone, gate, and timing shall be decided by JMD Wildlife management and booking team in the best interest of safari operations and wildlife sighting experience.

By confirming the booking, the customer agrees that:

  • They have no objection regarding zone, gate, route, or safari timing allocation.
  • No refund, cancellation, dispute, or compensation claim will be entertained based on safari zone or gate allotment.
  • Wildlife sightings are natural occurrences and cannot be guaranteed under any circumstances.

5. Guest Conduct & Forest Rules

While on safari and within the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, guests must:

  • Maintain silence and follow the naturalist / guide's instructions at all times.
  • Refrain from littering, smoking, or consuming alcohol inside the reserve.
  • Not feed, chase, or attempt to touch any wildlife.
  • Stay seated inside the safari vehicle at all times unless permitted by the guide.
  • Not use flash photography or play loud music / use drones (drones are strictly prohibited).

Violation of forest department rules may result in immediate termination of the safari without refund and possible legal action by forest authorities.

6. Liability & Insurance

  • Wildlife safaris are inherently adventurous activities. Guests participate at their own risk and are advised to obtain appropriate travel and medical insurance prior to arrival.
  • JMD Wildlife shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, theft, damage to belongings, or any indirect or consequential loss arising during the tour.
  • The company is not responsible for delays or itinerary changes caused by traffic, weather, animal movement, vehicle breakdown, or third-party service providers.

7. Photography & Media Usage

Photographs and videos taken by JMD Wildlife guides or staff during the safari may be used by JMD Wildlife on its website, social media, and marketing materials, unless the guest objects in writing prior to or during the trip. Guests may freely use their own media for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Force Majeure

JMD Wildlife shall not be held responsible for any delay, modification, or cancellation of services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, weather conditions, forest authority decisions, road closures, pandemics, or other unavoidable events. In such cases, refund eligibility will follow applicable government / forest authority rules and the Cancellation Policy.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to a booking with JMD Wildlife shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chandrapur, Maharashtra, India.
